Personality: Honoka is a lovable idiot who just wants to do right by her friends, her family, and her school. She will try until her last breath, forcing herself through sickness and excitedly pushing forward in health, to achieve the twofold dream of becoming school idols and saving Otonokizaka.
She believes -- in people, in ideas, in dreams. If she can dream it, she'll do it and no obstacles will stand in her way, because she'll break them down through practice or perseverance. Honoka most importantly believes in friendship; she understands that μ's is a group predicated on friendship first and foremost, agreeing with the idea to do away with senpai-kouhai relationships.
Honoka is passionate about everything she does, bringing a special Honoka-ness to it that only she can bring.
By virtue of not trying to be a leader, she's a natural leader. When μ's tries to compete within itself to determine a leader/center, she's the one who suggests they all take turns; she succeeds Eli as student council president; she's the one people listen to. This means she shoulders too much responsibility sometimes, and she takes it personally when she fails, even when she has no control over the situation. She tends to overwork herself to the point of sickness, rendering herself unable to perform, and refuses to accept (and therefore take responsibility for) her actions and their conclusions. This can also be seen when she's failing her diet with Hanayo at the rice buffet.
If we were talking D&D stats, she'd have an 18 in Charisma, even if she'd be stuck with a 10 Intelligence and a 12 Wisdom. To put it simply, she's just not very bright. She's a slacker when it comes to schoolwork, until her chance to perform is put on the line.
Honoka doesn't know her own influence. She is a loyal friend, an energetic and outgoing girl, and the sun around which μ's revolves. But sometimes this revolution is forced. She doesn't take her friends' comfort zones into account, such as Umi's reluctance to wear skimpier outfits, and proceeds full speed ahead, taking for granted that they'll follow her. She really does believe to the point of absurdity that the most desperate dreams will come true, even if those around her aren't all on board.
Abilities & Skills: A practiced singer and dancer, Honoka is the leader of μ's, a school idol group. Her world boasts no supernatural talents, but one could argue that her determination surpasses normal levels.
Inventory/Companions: A set of workout clothes; one school uniform.
Choice: Dragon (primary); vampire (backup).
Reason: When I think "dragons", my mind goes primarily to their tendency to hoard -- and if Honoka hoards anything, it would be friendship. A dragon with a hoard of friendship sounds too good to resist, and the idea of little golden scales creeping up on her face, making her doubt her perfect complexion, is too good to resist.
More likely, however, you'll choose the second option and I'll be just as delighted. She has plenty of canon art of being a vampire and I can see it wrecking her slowly that she's undead and won't get the chance to grow up -- something I'd love to play with.
